Every Ship Got a New Look

All five ship classes have been completely redesigned. New models, new textures, new proportions. The goal was simple: every ship should be instantly recognizable, even at a distance.

Readability Over Flash

In a 5v5 fight, you need to know what you're looking at in a fraction of a second. Is that a Dreadnought holding a chokepoint or a Destroyer about to charge a railgun shot? The old models were too similar at range. The new ones fix that.

The Dreadnought is massive and angular — it looks like something that shouldn't be able to move. The Interceptor is sleek and narrow, built for speed. The Carrier is wide and flat with visible drone bays. Each silhouette tells you the role before the UI does.

Ship by Ship

The Destroyer got the most dramatic change. It's more compact now with visible turret hardpoints — the kind of ship that looks like it was designed to do one thing well. The Frigate is smoother, with an open profile that suits its support role. And the Carrier's new look finally matches the fantasy of being a mobile command platform.

The Dreadnought and Interceptor were already close to where we wanted them, but the textures are completely new. More detail in the hull plating, better color contrast between team markers and the ship body.

What's Next

Ship skins are on the roadmap. Now that every class has a strong base model, we can start building variants — different color schemes, hull patterns, maybe some earned through achievements. The foundation is there.
